The right material depends on where your banner will live. For most outdoor advertising in Kenya — storefronts, event gates, roadside promotions — 440gsm PVC flex vinyl is the workhorse: it is waterproof, UV-stable and strong enough to survive Nairobi sun and long rains when it is hemmed and eyeleted properly. If your banner will hang on a fence, scaffolding or anywhere the wind hits hard, choose mesh banner material instead; its perforated weave lets gusts pass through, which dramatically reduces tearing and strain on the fixing points.

Indoors, fabric takes over. Dye-sublimation polyester banners give richer colour with no glare under venue lighting, fold away without creasing and photograph beautifully — which is why step-and-repeat media walls, conference backdrops and mall displays are increasingly printed on fabric. Backlit banner material is a specialist option for lightboxes and illuminated signage: the print is engineered to glow evenly when lit from behind. Large-format banners are priced per square metre, which means you are never forced into a fixed template — enter the exact width and height you need on any product page and the price updates instantly. A typical shop banner runs about 3m × 1m, an event stage backdrop 6m × 3m, and street pole banners around 0.8m × 2m per face. Every banner product page shows its minimum and maximum print dimensions, so you always know what our machines can produce in a single seamless piece.

Hardware products — roll-up banners, X-banner stands, feather flags, gazebos and pop-up walls — are priced per unit because the printed graphic comes matched to the stand it ships with. A standard roll-up banner is 85cm × 200cm, the wide-base version is 100cm × 200cm, and feather flags stand roughly 3m tall with their pole kits included. Ordering multiple units? Banners are viewed from metres away, so you do not need the ultra-high resolutions that business cards demand: 100–150 DPI at full print size is ideal for large-format work, and each product's price calculator shows the recommended pixel dimensions for the exact size you configure. We accept PDF, AI, EPS, PNG, JPG, SVG and TIFF files up to 200MB, uploaded directly on the product page when you order.

Design in CMYK where possible for the most predictable colour, keep critical text at least 5cm away from the edges (hems and eyelets take up space), and convert fonts to outlines or curves before exporting. Every single order includes a free artwork check by a real person: we look at resolution, bleed, trim and colour before anything is printed, and we contact you if something would compromise the result.
